Sorry for the delay on the post. I recently got back from a vacation/trip to Minnesota for a martial arts tournament. It was a great experience being at the Diamond Nationals in Bloomington, MN; If you guys have never heard of the tournament, It is considered to be like the super bowl of martial arts tournament.
Competition was pretty good. I competed in the 18-29 heavyweight division. The division in tournaments are divided based on age, rank, gender and weight class (adults that is). Winners are declared from the judges decision based on precision, technique, etc. This time I placed 3rd in my division; one thing about becoming a champion is that you have to put in the work, take notes what you have done wrong, improve, and move on! There are no excuses for failure. I am pretty sure you wouldn’t make an excuse if you won. However, we should always seek for improvement(win, draw, or lose). we should never get too comfortable. More post based on the tournament coming soon!
