Eazy Mikhail – Cloudvision Mixtape

Its E-A-Z-Y! My cousin, Sambeast’s (Pay Attention Productions) artist and my homie Eazy Mikhail finally dropped, Cloudvision, the illest mixtape of 2011! The Mixtape consist of 16 dope ass tracks, which would truly give you the feeling you in the cloud mos def! Personally, this is truly something you can listen to from beginning to the end! I first met this dude a few years back and was blown away from his music ability and his aesthetics for Art. I definitely knew he had something, but I was completly blown away from this!

This Louisiana native who currently resides in Louisville, Ky is definitely going to make a mark in the music scene! I normally don’t give credit unless its due, but he is in the clouds no doubt! Dude is spitting out fire and is truly original. Get that free download at, www.eazymikhail.com !

Marc Jacobs S/S 2011

The smart and causal chic is the look for Marc Jacobs. The color palette is very neutral, which is something you would not see for as summer hues. Classic fitting in the garments. Not sure if I would pay the price for some of the items; I would have to make some economic substitutions. However, the more I look at some of the garments they are not bad. Its very rare to see collections where you would wear fit for fit.  Nevertheless its a pretty cool collection.

GQ’s 2011 menswear finalist

According to GQ, they have announced the 6 finalist for America’s best new menswear designers. The six people consist of  Michael Bastian for Gant, T for Alexander Wang by Alexander Wang, Rick Klotz of Warriors of Radness, Patrik Ervell, Kirk Miller (Miller’s Oath), and Riviera Clug Designers Joe Sadler, Derek Buse and Greg Ullery.

I have a huge prediction the award is going to be either Alexander Wang or Michael Bastian. These two designers have been consistent when it comes to being branded from various publications, fashion bloggers and to celebrities rocking the garments created from the two.  nevertheless, these two possess totally different dimensions regards to style, but truly captures the contemporary to fullest!

The interiguing thing about them are their styles are quite modern, but with a different focus. For example, Michael Bastian’s designs reflect the All-American aesthetic fused with altheticism (suits with rugby shirts).

On the other hand, Alexander Wang is more towards the minimalist avante garde aesthetic. The winners of the awards will win 50,000 cash prize to build their business. That’s a great gift!

Balmain Homme 2011

Balmain has definitely been sweeping the fashion trends like one of Bruce Lee’s leg sweeps! presenting the fall 2011 lookbook for Balmain homme collection is truly where it ats! I love the focus on the layering in each individual looks.  The color palette is perhaps ordinary, but its cohesive to the season.  Hell I wish I had Balmain Money, this is a great substitute for those who are seek to find looks from this lookbook.

John Galliano fall collection 2011

Embracing the dark aesthetic fueled with dramatic emphasizes, There is no question within a doubt John Galliano is one of the most creative fashion designers regards towards theme. The collection has keen focus on the outerwear and underwear. It was kinda hard to vision whether some of these pieces were practical. Art isn’t always practical; therefore, it our own prerogative to make that decision. The make truly contours the essence of Galliano’s designs. It would not surprise me if the costume designer for the Pirates of the Caribbean movies are  influenced from his work!

Jeremy Scott/Adidas ObyO fall ’11 collection

I came across these from a great friend of mine! The fall collection Jeremy Scott for Adidas Originals by Originals are without a doubt creative! People were buzzing on the streets regards to the Teddy Bears joints Wayne rock’d on 106 and Park. The bones are my favorite (gotta dope as fit already on deck), but not really feeling the panda bears. what you think?
