Topman – spring summer 2012 collection

Topman‘s spring summer collection is offering a range of dope pieces. Tribal patterns and animalistic prints delivers a eclectic/vintage look.Flamboyant shirts, acid-washed bomber, bright short shorts (NO brothas will be rocking those), hybrid varsity jacket, faded denim and many more.

This collection is very daring and fearless. This can be tricked out very well. only if you know how to rock it well. That varsity jacket has my name on it!! Dare to be different.

Kris Van Assche – Lookbook 2012

Kris Van Assche shows the looks of this upcoming collection for 2012. The eyewear is sickening and very futuristic while the garments possess the ideal minimal look. The silhouettes truly give that Dior-esque look. Of course he is the designer for Dior Homme, but I would like to see something distinguishing from the prestegious fashion house he designs for. The black and white shots screams Dior. I would love to see something, different.

Tom Ford Documentary – Must SEE!!!

All of the fashionistas out there have been aware of the documentary of the iconic and great Tom Ford. OWN’s full-length footage highlighting world-renowned fashion designer and film director Tom Ford is now available. The documentary captures the everyday life of Tom Ford. Highly known for his incredible work in the fashion industry, He is also a Oscar Nominated director as well. Peep the video to view Tom Ford’s inspirations and more!

Dsquared2 – Pre F/W collection 2012

Showcasing the images for the pre- fall/winter collection for Dsquared2. As you can see, David and Dean Caten has showed a wide range of styles in this collection. The collection should be called, “you can have whatever you like” because it ranges from color blocking, menswear, etc. Its quite ironic how the menswear pieces look better than some menswear collections out there! There is absolutely no shade, but you gotta call a spade a spade. Hint: Guys, if you are confident, you can take inspiration from women as well (make sure you don’t lose the sense of masculinity).

Throughout the past few collections, I have truly admired their quality of fabrics they used. The farbics truly enhanced the garments pretty well. Duh its apparent for fashion designer to obtain great quality, but its absolutely shows (which is probably why they cost so damn much lol).

I hate to admit, but people don’t be showing Canadians extra love for their craft. They killing it on the music scene as well as fashion.

New Year’s Dress

Ladies, Its about time for you to get that ensemble right to bring into the new year. Making an introduction for 2012 is going to be everything. One way to do is by getting a few classical pieces such as this black dress by ASOS.

This mini dress has a round neckline, long mesh insert sleeves, mesh panel to upper, body-conscious fit, cut outs to waist, and a mini cut length. A great way to show that sexy figure before the countdown.

Black Dresses are like the must have in every woman’s closet. With the price, you seriously can not beat it ladies #cheap4chic. Do some minimum gold accessories and an exotic animal print heel and you will be killin ’em without a doubt!

UNDRCRWN – Animal Print Snapbacks

The dope ass snapbacks come in various textures. Sometimes it upsets me how some people are so conservative not to wear a leopard print blazer with red python shoes or anything exotic. You are born to stand out, why blend in. One thing is for certain, I will be copping one of these bad boys. A perfect accessory to provide a killer instinct POP to your ensemble. You can cop these snapbacks at

Karlie Kloss: Vogue Japan 2012

Featuring in the February issue of Vogue Japan, its shown that Karlie Kloss is continuing to keep it pushing on very print work. Hedi Slimane is the photographer of the shoot (also known for his extraordinary work as a fashion designer at Dior Homme, etc.). One thing about his shots is they display so much emotion. Naturally, all print work should captivate some aspect of energy; however, Hedi and Karlie working together truly make incredible works of art.

Frank Ocean – L’Uomo Vogue

Frank Ocean‘s career has sky rocketed this year! Being named Rookie of the year by GQ magazine, Working with Beyonce, Kanye West, Jay Z and a dope ass mixtape. This was indeed his year to shine! Mr. Ocean was featured in the issue of L’Uomo Vogue. One thing I love is the images really reflect his taste in music, which also complements his style as well.

McQ 2012 Spring/Summer collection

Alexander McQueen‘s diffusion line, McQ, has embraced the rockabilly aesthetic for their spring/summer collection. The key items in this collection are the oxford shoes, rebel leather jacket, and the baseball jacket, and the skinny suit. Kinda squarish, but I am sure someone can get their Bruno Mars swag with it!

Lindsay Ellington: Vogue Japan 2012

There is alot going on in this shoot with Lindsay Ellingson for February’s Vogue Japan issue. Styling in the garments of Versace for H&M, the shoot happens to give us a different take on the ensembles shown. Lindsay is giving me everything I need: sexiness, and more sexiness. Doesn’t she look like something outta that Super Bass video?

Japanese fashion is widely known for their busy, ultra bright hues and random choice of textures. Its colorful as if its for a lifesavers candy ad. Nevertheless, it does give a great artistic feel, which goes to show never doubt the Japanese regards to aesthetics. Not sure if I am feeling home boy’s look, but that is just me #noshade
