The Lanvin Campaign video has surfaced for quite some time now. They never disappoint. Its Lanvin, therefore I don’t have to say much. Just enjoy and embrace the couture dress and empeccable clean lines from Alber Elbaz.. Thank you and you are welcome..
There has been hella speculation that Lanvin’s designer Alber Elbaz will be leaving them for Parisian fashion house, Dior. With John Galliano out of the picture, this is going to be some talk if this is really confirmed. Ironically once I heard about the speculation about Hedi Slimane and Stefano Pilati, the thought of Lanvin trying to maintain the leash on Elbaz (no pun intended). After all Elbaz has performed remarkable collections (also the viral collaboration for H&M in 2010), which make this label to be one of the best out there!! If he does leave there will be the equivalent to Tom Ford leaving Gucci.
Once again another Lanvin for H&M presented by yours truly! I must say I can not resist the aesthetic Aber Elbaz possess into his work. The only thing I hate is the fact the collection was so fucking limited!! I wish there was more stuff like this because I am sick and tired of seeing chicks rocking BeBe thinking its haute couture or even avant garde with those overrated egos. Enough of my venting, enjoy.
Now I must say, I am feeling it. The navy overcoat definitely give me Burberry Prorsum without a doubt. The tailoring of the garments looks like they have came straight out of the runway heading towards the shoot. There is a mix of sophistication fused with Party Boy chic.
You guys were what in the hell you all were doing! they knowing everyone wasn’t going to be privileged to experience this. Pretty sure all of the fashion heads out there will be faceless in the long lines. stay chic! click below for the other looks.
Talk about waiting till 3 o clock in the morning to watch this. Personally, I think the garments were nice, but there was no wow factor for me. I liked it, but then again its Lanvin, Lanvin. THey can do anything.
Alright some of your fashionistas out there are totally aware of the Parisian fashion house, Lanvin collaboration with H&M. This is such a big deal for many of us. I personally was beyond thrilled from hearing the news. H&M has done several collaborations with some of the top fashion houses (Karl Lagerfeld, Comme Des Garcons, Matthew Williamson, etc.)
Alber Elbaz of Lanvin is such a beast with his extraordinary creativity with mixed patterns and aesthetics of their clothing. However, since there is NO H&M in Louisville, but I called all of the stores in Cincinnati and Indiana. They strongly doubt they will have the collection. Not sure how devastating this is going to be!! They said most of the larger cities are going to carry the Lanvin collection; so how come Atlanta is not getting collection (shade, shade SHADE!!!)
Most likely the closest place is Chicago. Not sure if I know anyone from Chicago, but is it serious to travel that far for some Lanvin/H&M, perhaps? There are no guarantees at the moment. Details will be coming soon! Anyone like a road trip, inbox me lol. In the meantime, stay chic!
I had to do something for the ladies out there.. Creative director of (THE) Lanvin, Alber Elbaz, never seized to fail the fashionistas out there. Earth tones have been in for the past few seasons; there should be no reason for it to leave, personally. The draping in the garment is cookin’! Seriously look like they used a laser to perfect the ayssemetrical lining. Minimal accessorizing, but the ensemble made it purpose.
There is practically nothing better than to see a woman looking at her best. She knows we are looking to on that roster, but still keeps her head up. 10’s across the board. Lanvin kills it no doubt!
