There has been a huge buzz about the latest film out in theaters, The Hunger Games. Since it has been released in the box office, the movie has gained successful for American box office reaching towards doing the same overseas. One of the stars of the film is fellow Louisville native, Jennifer Lawrence. You may have seen her in his sexy role as Mystique in X-Men: First Class, has featured on the cover of April Issue of Interview Magazine.I love her in this bodysuit by Dolce and Gabbana. Through the lens of Matthias Vriens-McGrath, he really captured her true sense of beauty. I truly hope her buzz goes up and be featured on the cover of Vogue Magazine in the near future.
This past weekend I happened to take my son out for ice cream and walk around the highlands in Louisville..I was very resistant on the idea, but how can I say “no” to my son lol? One thing about my son is the fact he knows what he wants and will not stop to get it. It inspires me how much a small individual can be more driven than more grown ups despite how big or small things appear! I don’t think he is spoiled. He is just loved by yours truly.
In the photo, I chose to take my biker look look which consisted of my favorite ASOS leather jacket, my Dolce and Gabbana “Mickey Mouse” graphic t-shirt, John Varvatos Jeans, and the Jeremy Scott Adidas hi-tops (very rare shoe to find).. The look was entirely inspired from my son’s love for Mickey mouse. Although the shades and jacket provided an edge, but the shirt and sneakers neutralized the ensemble with a softness of an iconic child cartoon character. There is some uncertainty he does not know how much I spend for those pieces just to express a love he has.. Even though I still like the garments, I mainly did it for him.
There was a recent outburst from Domenico Dolce of Dolce&Gabbana via Twitter in regards to the accusations of tax evasion. The dynamic fashion duo will have to appear in court pertaining to this nonsense.. According to sources, the government is trying to stick them for the paper if ya know what I mean. The tweet was immediately taked off from the account. If this is true, don’t pull a Wesley Snipes on us. The fashion world need y’all.
Dolce and Gabbana, one of fashion’s Most prestegious duos ever assembled discussing their views on fashion and marketing strategies on the internet! Each have their own unique philosophy on things which makes their work, cohesive. One of the interesting things mentioned was the emphasises on real life situations opposed to internet focus. This may appear contradicting due to the fact I am a martial arts/fashion blogger; however, we all tend to sit behind the computer living in a digital dream world while missing out on the greatness of life.he f
There is very seldom a fashion designer or artist would have complete inspiration from digital space than real life. Sure the internet provides limitless information that happens to be accessible to everyone in the world, but lets also live life. Now don’t get me wrong, it is definitely an privilege to see the latest fashion shows or obtain instant information from yours truly or other people. We are living in a new era (digital era), so we all shouldn’t rely on digital for everything lol..
Another glamorous and fly ass collection from Dolce and Gabbana. For the past collections I was having so-so feelings towards. It was not the fact they were bad, but it didn’t give me anything. Most fashionistas out there would perhaps agree with me, but I can never deny their sharp silhouettes and fine/practical designs! This collection is perhaps a favorite since their 2007 collection. Monochromatic color palette with a bold hint of Hot intense colors of Red and Purple. Virgin Wool suits and sequin blazer displays the essence of the Dolce and Gabbana brand! These guys are perhaps my favorite designers because they cause neck breaking looks!
