Such a Class Act! – Dsquared2 Fall Campaign 2012

Class started 2 hours ago. Am I late? Late is the last thing you would wanna think whenever you see a Dsquared2 collection or campaign. The Caten brothers has once again provided that bad ass school boy chic campaign through the lens of Mert and Marcus. Classical Ensembles such as the Leather jacket layered over the sweatshirt, button-up shirt, and distressed denim. The nerd glasses is not going anywhere anytime soon!

Dsquared2 – Pink Trousers

With Valentines slowly approaching us, I have thought about searching for various items that reflects the love. In this case, I chose to post a trouser which reflect the holiday’s color palette from Dsquared2. Talking being an attention grabber, these trousers should do the trick! This slim fit pant executes a POP of color, which is also great for mixing and matching colors.

Those who are familiar with Dsquared2, the price my appear to be a little more steep. However, the pant can provide great versatility! Versatility does suffice from its price and you get more of your money out. If you pair for an alternative, check out Uniqlo (a great recommendation)!

Milan Fashion Week: Dsquared2 – A/W 2012 collection

Dsquared2 collection has brought me back to memory lane from my days in school… Alright that statment is not valid, but this collection delivers school boy chic. Coming straight outta some nostalgic school film where you will see Ivy League scholars rocking tweed blazers with turtlenecks to the bad boy biker looks consisting of leather jackets and distressed denim. Completed with accessories such as, newsboy hats, duffels and backpacks, Stevie Wonder (no pun intended) could have seen what the inspiration was from. This collection truly compliments the women’s collection, hence I am sure they gave inspiration for collections.

Dsquared2 – Pre F/W collection 2012

Showcasing the images for the pre- fall/winter collection for Dsquared2. As you can see, David and Dean Caten has showed a wide range of styles in this collection. The collection should be called, “you can have whatever you like” because it ranges from color blocking, menswear, etc. Its quite ironic how the menswear pieces look better than some menswear collections out there! There is absolutely no shade, but you gotta call a spade a spade. Hint: Guys, if you are confident, you can take inspiration from women as well (make sure you don’t lose the sense of masculinity).

Throughout the past few collections, I have truly admired their quality of fabrics they used. The farbics truly enhanced the garments pretty well. Duh its apparent for fashion designer to obtain great quality, but its absolutely shows (which is probably why they cost so damn much lol).

I hate to admit, but people don’t be showing Canadians extra love for their craft. They killing it on the music scene as well as fashion.
