This Lookbook for H&M has an array of tailored outerwear garments, shirting, suiting and footwear, highlighted by a rich and colorful color palette. There are some pretty dope staples to get in the lookbook such as the varsity jacket and Duffle coat. Those are two items that are classic and wear for years to come! The collection shows their collections are growing and looking better than ever.
Inspired by late ’50s/early ’60s French and Italian films, the Pierre Balmain diffusion line offers an initial look into its sophomore collection for Fall/Winter 2012, modeled by Adrien Sahores. A cleaner and more refined construction make for a great series of seasonally-fitting clothes that are not a far cry from its well-received punk rock design language. As one would expect from the outfitter, the collection features a range of its proven staples including slim-fitting biker and denim jackets, alongside sleek blazers with narrow lapels, pencil cut pleated trousers, and clean tailored shirts.
This spring express that nautical look with a small twist with. Give it some color block action going and you have a classical season trend with some energy!
Although fashion isn’t for everyone, I strongly believe its very important to have several staples in your closet! A man should always AT LEAST a navy blazer, flannel suit, white button up,brown lace-ups, etc. Here are some nice basic staples to add to your closet without breaking the bank!
Burberry Prorsum has launched its Spring/Summer 2012 campaign featuring British actor Eddie Redmayne and model Cara Delevingne. Photographed by Mario Testino, the collection boasts a bevy of stylish overcoats that are chalked full of Burberry’s impeccable sensibilities. I’m loving the chemistry in the images displayed. Kinda makes you wanna invest in some pieces of the collection.
Here are the images for the pre fall collection for 3.1 Phillip Lim. It is not usual to hear about fashion designers to gain inspiration from comic books. However, Phillip Lim easily made a statement through his designs were nothing to joke about. Inspired from V for Vendetta and Sin City, the garments reflect the comic book every well. Monochromatic images from the comic book pages were translated as the color palette while expressing a punch of sinful red and orange. Growing up reading comic books, the accessories were pretty dope! There is no way you can’t express inspiration from a comic book without the BOLD descriptive words! One thing I love about american fashion is the embracing pop culture elements.
Like the comic books, there were some contrasting in the garments. For example, several of the looks deliver a nostalgic 60s look while keeping a minimalist look. The silhouette were indeed modern. The battle of femininity and menswear pieces provides an androgynous effect from some of the looks.
Models River Viiperi and Abbey Lee Kershaw are featured for the Versace for H&M Cruise 2012 season. Judging from looking at the lookbook, I will take back what I previously from the other post. The looks are taking a different aesthetic from its Rock & Roll predecessor. The collection will be launched on January 19th (my birthday), exclusively on H&M Online.
My main concern is some of us Americans will get the privilege to purchase these items online? Zara has finally pleased us with a e-commerce site. H&M needs to get on aboard an e-commerce for the United States. We need some of us needs these garments dammit!
A great way to interpret American fashion staples with the signature A bathing Ape flair. The collection is simple, yet its signature camo packed a punch (ironically its subtle at the same time).
Topman‘s spring summer collection is offering a range of dope pieces. Tribal patterns and animalistic prints delivers a eclectic/vintage look.Flamboyant shirts, acid-washed bomber, bright short shorts (NO brothas will be rocking those), hybrid varsity jacket, faded denim and many more.
This collection is very daring and fearless. This can be tricked out very well. only if you know how to rock it well. That varsity jacket has my name on it!! Dare to be different.
Kris Van Assche shows the looks of this upcoming collection for 2012. The eyewear is sickening and very futuristic while the garments possess the ideal minimal look. The silhouettes truly give that Dior-esque look. Of course he is the designer for Dior Homme, but I would like to see something distinguishing from the prestegious fashion house he designs for. The black and white shots screams Dior. I would love to see something, different.
Showcasing the images for the pre- fall/winter collection for Dsquared2. As you can see, David and Dean Caten has showed a wide range of styles in this collection. The collection should be called, “you can have whatever you like” because it ranges from color blocking, menswear, etc. Its quite ironic how the menswear pieces look better than some menswear collections out there! There is absolutely no shade, but you gotta call a spade a spade. Hint: Guys, if you are confident, you can take inspiration from women as well (make sure you don’t lose the sense of masculinity).
Throughout the past few collections, I have truly admired their quality of fabrics they used. The farbics truly enhanced the garments pretty well. Duh its apparent for fashion designer to obtain great quality, but its absolutely shows (which is probably why they cost so damn much lol).
I hate to admit, but people don’t be showing Canadians extra love for their craft. They killing it on the music scene as well as fashion.
