Spring Essentials: Shades of Grey

Being that is the beginning of the spring, now is the time to bring out that spring wardrobe out and start making those fashionable statements.  Whenever it comes to the quintessential pieces such as your Breton stripe shirts, deck shoes, linen, and cotton navy blazers automatically should register in your style conscious mind.  If you thought like myself, how would I seek classical pieces with a modern touch.

This season, Los Angeles based label, Shades of Grey, will have you covered on some of the pieces to add to your wardrobe. The pieces I have selected from the collection has as much versatility as a well rounded MMA fight! For example, This navy blazer shown has a really beautiful silhouette. According to the men’s fashion bible, this should be the first blazer for one to purchase. It simply can be worn anywhere and for every occasion. Judging from the price, this is the greatest price you will get close towards the ideal sartorial look the Italians rock with great elegance.

These striped sweaters can easily give a care free look as well. There are so much you can do with both of these tops. If you are going for the color blocking look, select either a vibrant or pastel hue shorts (and even pants). For the no brainer nautical look, throw on some white bottoms (i.e. shorts and chinos).

Provide your own twist to these items. These are some neo classical pieces which you can purchase at this link

Vera Wang – Campaign spring 2012

I have not taken full attention to Vera Wang’s collection recently. One thing I do admire about this campaign is the floral draping in the dresses. The scenery and and photograph’s clarity is remarkably beautiful.

The denim jacket part 1

One thing about American classics I truly enjoy are denim jackets. They can be worn in the mild seasons (fall and spring) and provide some versatility and individualism. Every one rocks the denim jacket differently which is a plus. You can see the same person with the same jacket you have, but if they can’t do it how you can, it really doesn’t matter!

rocking the denim with the Dee and Ricky accessory.

Just like your ordinary jeans, they come in a variety of colors and styles. For example, if you stressing about what to wear today, throw it on with a “fitted” t-shirt, jeans or perhaps chinos followed the selected shoe of choice (loafer, trainers, sneaker, etc.). Its all about how you do it, period! Imagine yourself attempting to recreate a classic based on your own interpretation on the garment; rocked well, wouldn’t that be a classic all by itself?

I stumble across this jacket from American Eagle (cooooookin!!!) on top of the screen for only $70.00. Not a bad price at all. If you shop smart like me, you would buy some classics off season. That way you will much better about your pocket change and it will never die! just have no big logo from the brand on the jacket(negative lol). here are some other jackets
