I-D Magazine has presented the spring and summer editorial looks for Dior Homme. The color palette kinda threw me off for a second. Typically, I would not consider these monochromatic looks considered as “spring colors“. Spring is often very
pastelle pastel hues; However, Dior Homme’s creative director Kris Van Assche has a love for the neutrals and through his designs, a minimalist rebel. The garment’s draping is not the average silhouette you would see from menswears collection (far as the minimal aesthetic is concern). Dior Homme always have brilliant campaign. Just like Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do style, simple yet effective!
Presenting the latest collection from Retro Super Future. If you are trying to get an alternative from the popular, Ray-Ban, this is eyewear for you (they are more appealing and easier in the wallets)! You have seen many celebrities rock the flat tops, which are perhaps their most popular pair. There are some other dope colorway found here.
Here are a few looks for the upcoming 2011 spring summer collection, Uniqlo. One thing I have been noticing about the Japanese clothing line is their aim towards the minimal look. Simple lines and neutral color palettes are essence of a true minimal. This is indeed one of the major trends. After aren’t more futuristic elements suppose to be minimal (think Michael Jackson’s Scream).
